A live concert & guided journey indoors & in the gardens
August 15-16
Come play on the land, be held, and let the music carry you inward
Come join us for an end of summer journey with live medicine music, beautiful gardens, and connection.
This is a time to land, wander, dance, sing, lay in the grass, connect with the earth and go on a deep inner journey. You will be held by our facilitators and Jonah Ocean, our musician for the evening, and the beautiful live music as you traverse your inner and outer landscapes.
Come receive, heal, connect, and celebrate summer.
"Music is not background. It is the journey itself, a living, breathing force that reads the room and responds to you, with you, for you."
A tucked-away healing sanctuary nestled in South Surrey, sitting on an acre and a half of lovingly tended land. The gardens here have been cared for and tended to with love, care, and intention for over 30 years.
It is a space devoted to healing with hundreds of diverse flowers, plants, trees, and furry dog friends wandering through.
This property provides a space for you to slow down, rest, be held in a safe container, and receive what your body and soul need at this time.
Location (indoor or outdoor) and timing will be confirmed closer to the date as we let the weather and bugs guide us. Whether we're in the ceremony space, the Solarium, or outside in the gardens, it’s going to be a beautiful magical night.
Music from
A Vancouver-based multi-instrumentalist and singer rooted in both technical mastery and spiritual tradition. Trained in classical and jazz, Jonah has learned hundreds of medicine songs across 8 languages and has played for countless medicine ceremonies alongside practitioners from around the world.
His gift is in attunement, reading the energy of the circle in real time and allowing the music to move with it, not ahead of it.
He uses a wide variety of gentle instruments, angelic and evocative singing, and loop pedal with sound effects to send you into a trance like state for down regulation and emotional processing.
Some of the sounds to look forward to: Crystal Bowls, Flute, Cello, Guitar, Harmonium, Jaw Harp, Frame Drum, Vocals, Loop Pedal, 8 Languages

Meet Your Facilitator, Krystal
Hi, I'm Krystal. I've been holding space for people through this kind of inner journey work for over 9 years and I've been living on and tending to this land for the past year. It brings me so much joy to welcome you here.
I'll be accompanied by my two trainees, Michael and Katie, both trained in medicine facilitation and support, nervous system attunement, and holding space for people as they traverse their inner landscapes.
Between the three of us you will be held, met, and supported through the night.
We’d love to welcome you into the The Journey into Breath community. It is deep, personal, and intentional, people who show up for themselves and for each other, who are devoted to doing the inner work, connecting on the land, and creating a space where everyone genuinely feels welcome. If you've been looking for your people, we would absolutely love to welcome you in. Come as you are, there is a place for you here:)

Yes. This journey is rooted in nervous system literacy and paced, consent-based facilitation.
You are never pushed beyond your capacity and instead invited to unfold in natural timing. -
The intention is to work at a level where you can soften, stay connected to yourself, and allow what’s ready to come forward without being pushed beyond your capacity.
Each person’s experience will be different, but the space is designed so you can meet it in a way that feels manageable and supported.
-
At times, the medicine can bring forward emotions, memories, or sensations that feel uncomfortable.
This isn’t something to fear — it’s often where meaningful shifts happen.
You won’t be left alone in it. The space is held with care, and you’ll be supported in staying connected to yourself rather than overwhelmed by what’s arising.
The focus isn’t on pushing through, but on meeting what comes up at a pace your system can handle.
